Berrien leads Lakeside to win at Cross Creek; Lady Razorbacks coast
Deon Berrien scored 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in Lakeside's 56-54 road win over sub region foe Cross Creek Tuesday.
The Panthers improved to 3-1 in league play and claimed sole possession of the number two spot in the standings heading into Friday's game at Grovetown, which will be mark the 5A sub region's halfway point in the schedule.
Cross Creek visits league leader Richmond Friday.
In the girls game, the Lady Razorbacks followed Saturday's exciting home win over Grovetown with a dominating, 63-26 thumping of Lakeside. Cross Creek's Alana Davis scored 25 points, making 11 of 15 attempts, and grabbed 12 rebounds while KymMya Thomas scored 23 and rebounded 14 times.
