Cross Creek sprints past Greenbrier to start region play

KimMya Thomas scored 30 points to lead Cross Creek to a 66-41 win at Greenbrier on the opening night of 5A sub region play. Alana Davis added 13 points. Yasmine Avery scored 14 points to lead Greenbrier in defeat.

Thomas and guard Nya Daniels give the Lady Razorbacks two perimeter scoring options to complement Alana Davis, the area's most dominant player. Even though all sub region teams play Friday, all eyes are on Saturday's showdown between Cross Creek and undefeated Grovetown, the early favorites in league play.
