Josey was paced by Dominique Hurst (19 points) and Javen Whitehead (10).
The win helps Glenn Hills (11-5, 3-2) stay close to the three region opponents (Westside, Laney, and Butler) which entered Friday with only one loss. Josey now has much ground to make up after falling to 2-3 in class AA, region 4 play.
#4 Richmond 73, #8 Burke County 71 (Overtime)
DT Stephens made a buzzer beating field goal that propelled Richmond to an overtime win over Burke County. Richmond was paced by senior Jason Weaver's 25 points and fellow senior Moses Williams's 17. Burke County was led by Jamal Hinkle (24 points) and Zayveon Williams (19).
