The Irish defense held the Tigers scoreless through 3 quarters. And it seemed like every time their fans who travelled from Augusta screamed for a big stop on 3rd and 4th down, coach James Leonard's team gave them what they wanted.

Friday's win was the fifth straight for the Fighting Irish. All that stands between Aquinas (6-2, 4-0) and a perfect region record is next week's stop at rival Lincoln County (4-4, 3-1). The Red Devils have won 3 straight games.
