The most prolific pair of high school football players in the area, #1 Damekus Taylor and #3 Corey Watkins, again lit up the scoreboard Friday, helping Evans improve to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in class AAAAAA, region 3 action with a 52-20 home win over rival Greenbrier.
Ahead for Evans is another rival, Lakeside, which enters Friday's matchup 2-6 overall and 2-1 in region play.
