Updates and highlights from Tuesday's games, including Westminster, Richmond, Lady Warriors

Westminster blitzed Augusta Prep 75-50.

Michael Dukes scored 24 and Jelani Watson-Gayle added 14.

Ryan Jolly led Prep with 19.

Richmond topped Grovetown 73-63.




Grovetown's Lady Warrirors thumped Richmond 69-25 to improve to 22-1 overall and 7-1 in sub region 5A action.

Grovetown was lead by sophomore Ayana Collins (24 points) and junior Destiny Marshall (16 points).Westminster's girls took down Prep 53-47. 




11:59 update:
Lincoln County topped region leader Hancock 61-59. Ahmad Rand scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and blocked 8 shots. Zach Crite scored 16 points and rebounded 10 times. And Devon Holloway scored 12 points.

Thomson knocked off region rival Burke County 59-55. Radaren Johnson led the way with 17 points, all in the second half. San Antonio Brinson scored 12 points. Darius Turman and Marquez Winfry each added 10.

Alleluia topped Augusta Christian 76-73 behind a combined 71 points from what I call the city's best trio: Mac McBride (28), Ben Dresser (22), and Hayden Hebert (21).

Nate Dunlop led Augusta Christian with 20 points. 

With a 47-39 road win at Evans, Lakeside improved to 4-4 in league play and grabbed the sub region's third spot (behind Greenbrier and leader Richmond).

8:41 update:
Butler topped Glenn Hills 81-68.

Greenbrier beat Cross Creek 61-57. Justen Hartfield led the way with 18, Richard Crawford scored 16, Jakobe Leverett added 15, and David Harris contributed 7 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists.
