Greenbrier's Crawford and Company engineer a comeback win over Laney at the Thanksgiving Classic at Paine

Greenbrier's Richard Crawford III would not let last season's history - when Crawford's game tying 3 against Laney was answered by a game winning Wildcat basket - repeat itself Saturday at Paine. The junior guard scored 25 points to lead the Wolfpack to a 71-67 overtime comeback win over Laney at the Thanksgiving Classic. The Wolfpack trailed by 21 at one point during the second quarter. Crawford and Josh Conzett (17 points) combined to make 9 three pointers. And 37 of the pair's 42 combined points came after halftime when Greenbrier dug itself out of a 31-16 deficit.

Full Game Highlights:

In the post game interview below, Crawford talked about the lessons he learned during last season's dramatic early season game against Laney, and he shared what he told his teammates when they trailed at halftime. And we recount the huge shots he and Conzett made late in regulation and during overtime.

Greenbrier (4-1) also got 11 points and an excellent floor game from senior Austin Canaday.

Donald Henley led Laney (3-1) with 25 points, and PJ Walker added 18.
