The area's leading scorer Nate Dunlop scored 26 points to lead Augusta Christian to a 70-51 home win over Augusta Prep in non region action. Derek Payne added 12 points on 4 three pointers and Will Moffatt chipped in 10 points. Prep was lead by Bailey Adams, who scored 10 points.
Before the game I talked to Prep’s Ryan Jolly, the star point guard who has committed to the Naval Academy, and who tore his achilles tendon when these teams played each other two weeks ago in the championship game of the Garden City Classic. Ryan told me he had surgery two Thursdays ago and that the prognosis is that he may be 100% in 6 months. Get well Ryan.
